1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat milk and egg in glass or metal bowl.
Beat flour, shortening and salt in glass or metal bowl.
Then beat both mixtures together.
Roll fish or vegetables in flour and dip in batter.
Fry in hot oil.
You can refrigerate up to 3 weeks.
