Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. flour
    salt and pepper to tate
    milk (enough to cover potatoes)
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes and soak in water for 1/2 hour. Drain and arrange in deep baking dish in layers. Sprinkle each layer with flour, salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Pour milk over all and sprinkle with grated cheese if desired. Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
