Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oats (quick cooking)
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour oats over hot water and let stand for 20 minutes.
    Cream butter and sugar; add oatmeal-water mixture, then sift in dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a greased and floured pan that measures about 9 x 13-inch.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
