Boiled White Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 c. sugar
 
1/3 c. water
1/3 tsp. cream of tartar
2 egg whites
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
- 
                            Frost a 13 x 9-inch cake.
 
Mix in saucepan first 3 ingredients and boil (cover first few minutes so crystals form).
Boil until 6 to 8-inch thread or 242\u00b0.
Beat 2 egg whites until stiff.
Pour syrup into egg whites and beat.
Add vanilla.
Spread.
