Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

pie crust
6 c. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
red food coloring
1 pkg. cream cheese

Preparation

Cook pie crust and then cool.
Mash strawberries to measure 1 cup.
Stir sugar and cornstarch together, then gradually stir in water and berries.
Cook mixture over a medium heat.
Stir constantly until it thickens and boils.
Let boil for 1 minute. Add a few drops of coloring.
Then beat cream cheese until smooth.
