Scrumptious Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. (6 oz.) ditalini or salad macaroni (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
    2/3 c. finely chopped celery
    2 c. (10 oz.) sweet peas, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. (15 1/2 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. diced pimento
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain well. Cool.
    (Rinse with cold water to cool quickly.)
    Combine cooled macaroni, chicken, celery, peas, pineapple, almonds and pimento in a large bowl.
    Combine mayonnaise or salad dressing, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
    Blend well.
    Gently stir dressing into chicken mixture until ingredients are evenly coated. Chill.
    Makes six servings.
