Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qts. cooked, peeled beets (cut lg. ones in sm. pieces)
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar and salt in vinegar.
    Bring to boil. Add beets and celery seeds; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Seal in hot sterilized jars.
