Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together on high heat. Bring to a boil and add peanuts. Boil about 10 minutes. When peanuts crack or turn light brown, add salt. Stir well and remove from heat. Add soda. Pour mixture into 5 greased pie shell tins. Beat tin on table well. Remove from pans and break apart when cool.
