Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer
3 Tbsp. flour
chicken broth
biscuits
chopped, cooked carrots (optional)
English peas (optional)
onion, chopped (optional)
Preparation

Cook fryer in salted water, until tender.
Cool to remove bones and skin.
Cut meat into bite size pieces.
Mix flour with part of the broth until smooth.
Add to the rest of the broth (about 3 cups).
Add chicken.
Cook and stir until slightly thickened and smooth.
Pour into casserole or pan and cover with biscuits.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until biscuits are brown.
