Party Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked squash
    1 to 2 onions, chopped
    1 c. sour cream
    1/3 to 1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing
    1 egg, beaten
    1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
    salt and pepper
    sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook squash and onions until tender.
    Mash fine.
    Butter a casserole.
    Layer dressing, then other ingredients.
    Put dressing on top.
    Dot with butter and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
