Butter Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh or frozen beans
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 or 2 tsp. butter
    water to cover well
Preparation
    Add everything together and simmer (do not let come to a boil). Cook gently until beans are tender.
    Add more warm water if needed to keep beans just covered.
