Cornmeal Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. plain cornmeal
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 egg yolks
    3/4 c. white flour
    3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    6 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
    Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and pinch of salt.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, cornmeal and soda together 3 times.
    Add sour cream.
    Add salt to egg whites; beat until peaks.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
