Carrot Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. grated carrots
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients.
    Heat shortening in frypan until moderately hot.
    Drop mixture by large spoonfuls into fat.
    Fry slowly and turn with spatula to brown on other side.
    Serves 4 to 6.
