Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. rum
2 c. chopped sour apples
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. strong coffee
2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Boil raisins in strong coffee. Drain and dissolve soda in hot coffee. Cool.
