Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
9 large eggs or 12 small eggs
4 c. flour
1 pkg. mixed fruit
1 pkg. dates
1 pkg. raisins
1 pkg. pineapple
1/2 box dark raisins
1 large bottle cherries (drain; save juice)
1/2 c. + 1 Tbsp. orange, lemon and almond extract (add enough juice to make 1/2 c.)
1/2 Tbsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 c. pecans
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. English walnuts
1 c. Brazil nuts
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, butter and eggs in a large pan.
Add chopped nuts and fruits.
Line cake pans with brown paper and grease paper.
Put a pan of water in the oven while baking.
Will fill 2 angel food cake tins.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 4 hours.
Remove from pans.
Wrap with cheesecloth and soak.
