Golden Ham Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms or small can
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. diced, cooked ham
    1/2 c. buttered bread cubes
Preparation
    Fry mushrooms, onions and butter for 5 minutes.
    Remove mushrooms.
    Add flour and seasonings to butter and blend. Gradually add milk while stirring and cook until thickened.
    Add cheese; blend.
    Stir in ham and mushrooms.
    Turn into buttered casserole and top with bread.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes. Serves 6.
