Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks (in juice)
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar (rounded)
    1/4 tsp. ginger or 1/2 tsp. Chinese 5 spice powder
    1 c. cooked chicken pieces or more
    3 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; add enough water to the juice to make 1 cup. In large saucepan, blend liquid with the cornstarch.
    Simmer gently, stirring frequently.
    Add vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and spice.
    Add pieces of cooked chicken and pineapple; simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Stir-fried or steamed vegetables make a good side dish.
