Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 pt. sweet milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs
    well;
    add
    sugar.
    Let milk get hot but not boil. Pour into egg and sugar.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 300\u00b0 until light brown.
