Modified Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

about 3 large apples (4 c.), cored and diced
about 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped up celery
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. lo-cal mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. whipped topping (Cool Whip)
Preparation

Core and dice apples.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Add chopped up celery, pecans or walnuts and raisins.
Mix mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice separately and fold into Cool Whip.
Spoon over apple mixture.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
Cover and chill. To serve, fold dressing into salad.
