Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    5 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. Bran Buds
    5 c. flour
    4 c. All-Bran
    4 eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil water; add soda and let cool.
    In separate bowl, add remaining ingredients.
    Combine.
    Add cooled water and soda mixture.
    This will keep in fridge for up to 6 weeks.
    Makes about 50 muffins.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes or until done.
