Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. oleo
    2 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 c. molasses
Preparation
    Mix flour, brown sugar, salt and oleo into crumbs and remove 3/4 cup for top.
    Mix 2 cups boiling water with molasses.
    Mix baking soda with 1/4 cup boiling water and add to molasses mixture.
    Mix all things together by hand.
    Pour into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
