Easy Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. chopped nuts
2 to 2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix together sugar and cocoa in a saucepan.
Stir in milk, margarine and corn syrup.
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Boil and stir approximately 1 minute. Remove from heat; cool without stirring until the bottom of the pan is lukewarm (about 45 minutes).
Stir in vanilla and nuts, then stir in powdered sugar until mixture is very stiff.
Press into buttered loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
Refrigerate until firm (30 minutes).
Cut into 1-inch squares.
Makes approximately 32 candies at 80 calories each.
