Chicken Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1 to 1 1/4 Tbsp. curry powder (use discretion so it won't be too strong)
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    6 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. well seasoned chicken broth
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 c. cream
    4 c. diced, cooked chicken or turkey
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter and remove from skillet. Add remaining butter and let it melt.
    Saute onion and celery but do not let it brown. Add curry powder and ginger.
    Stir in flour, then the broth. Stir constantly over moderate heat.
    Add the wine and the cream. Taste and add salt and pepper if necessary.
    Add the chicken and mushrooms to the sauce and heat thoroughly.
    Serve with hot, fluffy rice and condiments, such as chutney, chopped peanuts, coconut and sieved eggs.
