Garlic Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. grits (quick cooking kind)
    1 stick butter
    1 or 2 rolls garlic cheese
    2 eggs
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, heat milk and water nearly to boiling. Add grits, cooking and stirring, until very thick; add salt, butter and garlic cheese.
    In a small bowl, beat eggs lightly; spoon a little of the hot grits into the egg mixture, then combine with rest of grits.
    Pour into a greased casserole.
    Top with cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
