Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks
    2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
    6 bananas
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Drain juice from pineapple chunks.
    Save juice.
    In double boiler, mix pineapple juice, sugar, butter and cornstarch.
    Mix fruit.
    Pour paste over fruit after paste has cooled.
