Cherry Nut Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 lb. container candied cherries
Preparation
    Cream well the margarine, gradually adding 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
    Mix in cream cheese, eggs and vanilla.
    Cream well.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix well.
    Add nuts and cherries. Use a spring-form pan; grease pan well.
    Can use Pam.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
