Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 c. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 c. heavy whipping cream
some flour
2 Tbsp. salad oil
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef consomme
1 bay leaf
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl using only 3/4 cup of the cream.
Make 40 small balls.
Coat with flour.
Brown in hot oil in skillet.
Drain on paper towel.
In same pan, melt butter. Stir in flour and blend.
Gradually stir in undiluted soup and 1/2 cup cream.
Bring to boil, stir; add meat and bay leaf.
Simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
Take out bay leaf.
Serve in chafing dish to keep hot.
