Best Ever Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. butter
Preparation
    Combine sugars, corn syrup, cream, milk and butter.
    Cook slowly, stirring occasionally to firm ball stage (248\u00b0).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Cool.
