Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak or venison
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1 large onion
    1 green pepper
Preparation
    Cut steak into serving size pieces.
    Brown and place in casserole dish.
    Cut up onion and green pepper and place on top of meat.
