Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

20 oz. frozen broccoli
3 medium onions, quartered
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. milk
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. soft bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook broccoli and onion in salted water until tender; drain. In saucepan, melt the butter, blend in the flour, salt and pepper. Add milk and cook until bubbly stirring constantly.
Reduce heat. Blend in the cream cheese until smooth.
Place well drained vegetables in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Pour sauce over top.
Mix lightly.
Top with the cheese.
Melt the 2 tablespoons butter; toss with bread crumbs.
Sprinkle over top of casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
