Potato-Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 1/2 c. water
    4 medium potatoes
    2 medium onions
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    3/4 stick margarine
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine.
    Add diced potatoes.
    Add just enough water to cover.
    Cook until potatoes are tender and liquid has cooked down low.
    Add milk; stir and cook until hot.
    Do not boil.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve with saltine crackers.
