Potato Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cold mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. grated American cheese
fine dry bread crumbs
oil or shortening (to fry)
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients. Shape into balls. Roll in bread crumbs. Deep-fry 3 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper towels; serve hot.
