Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 c. sliced and peeled cooking apples
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    3/4 c. finely packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. butter
Preparation
    In 2-quart (8 x 8-inch) baking dish, arrange apples.
    Combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly.
    Sprinkle over top of apples.
    Cook, uncovered, 12 minutes or until apples are tender.
    If you prefer a more crunchy, brown topping, place under the broiler a few minutes.
    Serves 5 to 6.
