Unfrosted Seven-Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. 7-Up
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine butter, shortening, flour, sugar, eggs, 7-Up and vanilla in mixer bowl.
    Beat for 20 minutes.
    Spoon into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake springs back when lightly pressed with finger.
    Do not underbake. Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Yield:
    16 servings.
