Aunt Annie'S Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. green peppers, chopped
    1 small pkg. frozen peas
    1/2 c. sweet onions, chopped or French fried onions
    1 c. carrots, chopped or shredded
    1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer vegetables in a flat dish.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar. Pour on top of the layers.
    Add cheese and bacon bits. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
