Applesauce Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 (20 oz.) pkg. cottage cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mash cold cottage cheese with fork.
    Mix well with other ingredients using hands.
    let stand overnight in icebox.
    Next day, roll dough in circle.
    Cut in wedges.
    Put applesauce in center of each piece and press edges together.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes or less.
    Frost with powdered sugar frosting while warm.
    Makes about 20.
