Five Spice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 clove garlic, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. cooked rice
    grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in skillet; drain.
    Add tomatoes, soup and spices.
    Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
    Stir in rice. Pour into casserole dish (9 x 13-inch works well).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until hot.
    Top with cheese and return to oven until cheese melts and browns a little.
