Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook over a medium flame, stirring real often, until mixture is thickened.
    Alternate layers of bananas and vanilla wafers with mixture.
    Top with meringue made with 3 egg whites and 2 tablespoons sugar, whipped until stiff. Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
