Angel Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
2 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 c. hot water
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and molasses; beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with hot water, beating until smooth.
Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 45 minutes.
