Beryl'S Cheap Chocolate Cake(Cake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. Crisco oil
1 c. buttermilk
3 scant cups sifted flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
6 heaping tsp. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
1 box (1 lb.) confectioners sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. softened margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
5-7 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

In a large bowl, beat the eggs.
Add sugar and vanilla. Stir. Then add Crisco oil.
Stir oil in well.
Add buttermilk. Mix well. Measure remaining dry ingredients into sifter.
Sift into mixture and blend well.
Last add 1 cup boiling water.
Mix well until smooth.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13 greased and floured or waxed paper lined pan for 40 minutes.
