Glorified Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rice
    1/2 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    12 maraschino cherries, cut up
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    sugar to taste
    8 oz. whipped topping
Preparation
    Cook rice
    very slowly in plenty of boiling water until tender; add salt.
    Rinse
    2
    or
    3 times in cold water.
    Drain well.
    Add\tpineapple,
    cherries,
    cherry juice, marshmallows, sugar and topping.\tChill well in refrigerator.
