Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. rolled oats cereal
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream brown sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla in large mixing bowl.
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in cereal and nuts.
Form into small balls and dip tops in sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
