Chicken N' Rice, New Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 large pkg. Mahatma saffron rice
    enough water to cover chicken
Preparation
    Cook chicken on top of the stove with the onion soup mix until chicken is tender; debone and skin.
    Degrease the broth by placing pot in refrigerator until the grease comes to the top.
    Skim the fat off.
    Heat the mixture again and bring to a boil.
    Add rice and chicken.
    Simmer until done.
