Buffet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.)
    3/4 c. shredded sharp cheese
    3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. half and half
    pepper
Preparation
    Peel and chop potatoes in 1/2 to 1-inch squares.
    Arrange potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole in 3 layers, topping each layer with a dash of pepper and 1/3 each of salt, parsley, onion and cheese.
    Dot with margarine and pour half and half over potatoes.
    Cover and cook in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Uncover and cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes longer.
