Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk, scalded
nutmeg
Preparation

Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Mix well.
Gradually add milk, stirring all the time.
Pour in custard cups.
Place cups in a baking pan of hot water.
Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool.
Yields 6 servings.
