Ingredients

6 plus c. flour
1 Tbsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast
2 1/2 c. very warm water
1 egg white
1 Tbsp. cold water
1 Tbsp. sesame seed
Preparation

Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, salt and undissolved yeast.
Add warm water to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl.
Add 1 cup flour and beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough.
Knead 4 to 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place in greased bowl, turn to grease top.
Cover and let rise until doubled (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
Punch down dough; divide into 3 balls.
Place on greased baking sheets which have been sprinkled with corn meal.
Make several gashes on top of each loaf.
Cover; let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
