Ingredients

1 pt. dried rose petals
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 oz. powdered benzoin gum
1 tsp. cloves
1 oz. cognac or fruit brandy
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. table rock or pickling salt
1 oz. powdered orrisroot
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Tightly pack in a glass jar or Tupperware container, cover and let set for a few days.
Shake to disperse ingredients and potpourri is now ready to use.
