Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 eggs, beaten
    6 slices bacon
    6 green onions, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    2 c. frozen green peas, cooked
    dash of garlic powder
    3 c. cooked regular rice
    1 to 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Heat oil in small skillet; add eggs and cook, stirring constantly until firm, but still moist.
    Set aside.
    Cook bacon in skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
    In skillet, crumble bacon and set aside.
    Add next 4 ingredients to drippings; cook until onions are tender.
    Stir in rice, soy sauce, eggs and bacon.
    Cook until thoroughly heated. Yield:
    6 servings.
