Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin tip, cut into serving pieces
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic, cut up
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1 c. hot water
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 large green pepper, thinly sliced in rings
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly in skillet with oil about 24 minutes. Add onions and garlic last few minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add to meat. Cover and simmer until meat is almost tender, about 20 to 25 minutes. Add tomatoes and green pepper and cook 10 minutes longer.
