Juicy Beef Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frozen beef brisket (2 lb. or more)
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    water
    garlic salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Place frozen brisket (fat side up) in 13 x 9-inch cake pan. Sprinkle dry soup mix, garlic, salt and pepper over top of brisket.
    Add water to cover bottom of pan about 1/2 to 1-inch. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil.
    Put in 250\u00b0 oven.
    Bake at least 6 to 8 hours.
    Serve with mashed potatoes (use broth from brisket or make gravy from broth).
    Tender and juicy.
    Plan to start early in the day.
